“Rick’s ability to draw people in as he speaks is really incredible. He speaks with such passion and care that you can tell how much he cares for each person in the crowd by how he acts on stage. All this put together, it’s hard to do anything else but sit and listen and hang onto every word.”

"Rick is a compelling, engaging, and passionate speaker who pours his heart into his messages. He officiated my wedding and the number of positive comments about his message were overwhelming. He had our audience laughing, thinking, and connecting. Listening to Rick is always a true delight!"

"Rick is an incredibly gifted communicator. His messages are always engaging, relevant, and filled with deep biblical truths. I am one of many who has been greatly impacted by his teaching, his wisdom, and his love for God and for others."
“Rick Morgan lives what he preaches. His wisdom and advice has helped me in ways I will never be able to repay. I am successful in my field of work because of his influence.”

"Rick Morgan is a whole-heart—absolutely sold out to Jesus no matter what. Like Job he says, 'Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him.' Built on that Rick-solid (ooops, I mean rock-solid) foundation is immense creativity, great energy, and clear thinking (consider all the youth workers he trained)...He’s the only one I know who authorized giving out $760 in ten dollar bills to teenagers to help them understand the parable of the talents in Matt 25. (They brought back over $1900.). He’s the speech professor who not only listens to what his students say in front of the class, but hears their hearts in private meetings. And when he speaks to the masses it changes lives."

"There are two mantras of Rick Morgan's life that I cannot separate from his character and my memories of him. The first time we met at Asbury, it might have been there where I first heard him talk about purpose and the importance of vision in ministry. Later, I heard Rick lead worship and recite his mantra for ministry, 'It’s not about you, it’s not about me, it’s all about God.' This was not just Rick's worship priority, it has been his lifestyle. He has been setting that example for other leaders ever since. The second, and most important, mantra Rick has lived by is, 'pray as if everything depends on God, work as if everything depends on you.' When I came to visit SAFMC Edge in 1999, Rick had his adult and student ministry team walk around the gym praying before the evening gathering. I learned that this was his ritual for speaking at an event or gathering for a youth ministry outreach. And if that wasn’t enough, he had a day set aside every week where he just prayed for his ministry team, the students, the rest of the staff at the church…Rick made prayer a priority for everything. The dependence on prayer Rick practiced and modeled for others sets the bar for the normal Christian life!
I am so thankful for the privilege of hearing Rick speak. He is a man after God’s own heart, leading in so many areas, for so many years, for so many people!"
